Does anyone know what kind of jobs/companies require a hair follicle drug test for employment? Most jobs require some sort of drug test, with urine tests being the most common. Does anyone have any experience with hair follicle tests (or know of anyone who does)? What kinds of companies, industries, or positions usually require them?

Hair follicle drug testing in Philippine schools? I was just wondering what kind of drug testing do they do in the schools in the Philippines? Is it the traditional urine sample test or the hair follicle test?

Does hydrocodone or other synthetic opioids show up on a hair follicle drug test? Someone told me the hair test does test for opiates but not synthetic opioids. hydrocodone is a synthetic opioid. they said the hair test only test for codeine, morphine, and a metabolite of heroin, all of which natural opiates break down to. they said hydrocodone and even oxycodone will not show up because they do not break down into morphine or any of these compounds in the body. is this true that they will not show on the hair drug test because they are synthetic opioids? i know they can test for them and they will show if tested for, but i am asking if in the standard 5-panel hair test (marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine/mdma, opiate, and pcp), will synthetic or semi-synthetic opiods show positive for opiates?

Why would a court order a hair follicle drug test when you went in for a drinking charge? My buddy and I were pulled over a few months ago at a DUI roadblock. They tested us for drunk driving and I had not been drinking so I was fine. My buddy on the other hand I guess had been drinking at the house we were at (without my knowledge) and he blew a 0.5 on the breathalyzer test. Well he's only 20, so they gave him a under age drinking ticket. Well this morning he went to court and told them he had accidentally ate some jungle juice fruit but that was all the alcohol he had consumed. The judge told him he didn't believe him and ordered a hair follicle test to see if he has been doing anything else in the last few months. My question is why would this judge order a hair follicle test if you are going in for a drinking ticket? and what is the judge trying to prove with this test? what are the penalties if my buddy fails these tests? a bigger fine, jail time? I don't understand why it matters now what type of drugs he has in his system. They can't send you to jail for doing drugs without being caught with them can they? he has smoked weed and done X a few times in the last few months. If anyone can help me to answer these question that would be great. Some people seem a little confused about who was the driver. I was, i'm the one who wasn't drinking. He was my passenger. Hope that clears up sometimes. I do not condone drunk driving by any means. If it were him driving none of this would of happened because I wouldn't of let it.

positive hair follicle drug test and supervised visitation? i recently asked the question if a positive hair follicle drug test was sufficient evidence for me to SEEK supervised visitation while my X visits with my 5 year old. my X has admitted to the courts that he is an addict (crack/coke). recently he failed a drug test, but the judge will not order supervision for his visitation of our child. does anyone know of a precedent where a positive test is sufficient to immediately order supervision. he currently has unsupervised visitation.

Question about hair follicle drug test? I need to pass a hair follicle drug test to acquire a job I've wanted for a while. I'm 70 days clean as of right now. My plan is to get my hair cut to 1 inch in a couple days and then get that tested via a take-home test. Hair Follicle Drug Test Question? I got hit in the side of the back by a falling piece of wood about 2 weeks ago. I need to pass a hair follicle drug test. Have I abstained long enough to pass clean? I recently got picked for a bad ass job. One problem though...I smoked weed back in September, probably around the end of the month. I also took some of my prescription lorcet (hydrocodone) that I was prescribed in april for wisdom teeth removal. I did not finish the script and I had a serious car accident in october in which i did not go to the ER because i'm tired of these medical bills. plus it was a special day and i didnt want to spend it in the hospital. well i knew this job was coming soon, but not this soon. the last time i smoked weed was probably around the end of september. then the last time i took lorcet was oct. 19. i have been clean since that day. i cut my hair after thanksgiving and now its about 1/2 inch long. i need like 1.5 inch for the test or so. the test is in the middle of january. will i be able to pass the hair test clean since i cut off my "dirty" hair? please help me this is for an important career. no bullshit answers neither, i quit ok! well would they hold the loracet against me because it was prescribed back in april and i was taking it in october? i had a legal prescription and the bottle said take for pain not for mouth pain. so i took it for my neck and back pain. i have the papers from the pharmacy. good suggestions. and everyone answered so quickly. well keep the comments coming please!!
