Why is my daughter's father being so hard to deal with over custody? It's now been one year and four months since I filed custody for my daughter. We have had numerous attempts to go to court, all of which he has postponed for one reason or another. I have my daughter 24 days out of the month, he gets three weekends a month. We have the paperwork for the amount due as far as child support is concerned, but they cannot force him until we have finalized the parenting plan. So... he pays when he can, for example I have received one out of the six of the last payments due. I guess my question is if anyone else has dealt with this. He hates me. How can DCFS substantiate all the crazy allegations made by my daughter when I have PROOF 2 show they're false? I have done everything possible to help my 15 year old daughter with her drug problem for the past 3 years. I can't count the number of counseling sessions, group counseling, psychiatrist visits, etc. She has been in rehab 4 times and diagnosed with rapid bipolar disorder. She has been caught shoplifting, and I am still paying that off. I KNOW IN MY HEART I have always been a wonderful mother. I admit to verbal altercations after her drug use began and she became very hostile. She had run away Nov. 27, and she was finally picked up March 13. I have made so many runaway reports. She was on dozens of missing children websites, and I looked for her on a daily basis. When she was taken to the sheriff's department, she made child abuse allegations, so they called DCFS. I left work as soon as they called me to meet with the social worker. I have always just dropped whatever I'm doing for her. I even took a leave of absence a year ago to make sure I could see her in the intensive residential treatment center two hours away. When I got to the DCFS office, she had told them I was a drug user (I don't even drink or smoke and certainly don't use drugs), that I starved her, didn't buy her clothes, that I kicked her out, that I never attempted to find her, and it just keeps going. We had a dependency court hearing, and she has been placed in a girl's home nearby. The court allegations were horrible, but then I read the DCFS report this past Friday. They have substantiated every allegation based on my daughter's word. Even a deputy said, "She can lie better than I can tell the truth." I have my phone records showing I called and texted her every day looking for her, the runaway report, fliers, all of my Facebook posts with the links to the missing children's websites, my sister taped her hysterical rant the day she ran away, and she also took pictures of how badly bruised she left me. I have her dental history, medical history, eyewitnesses to her assaulting me, an assault report, school records, records of all my contact with her school counselor, pictures of her with nice clothes (which I dropped off for her in numerous bags at the girl's home), a record of my grocery expenditures, so much to prove that she was never neglected. They are also saying that because I am treated for mild clinical depression, I cannot provide a safe living environment for my daughter (I filed a civil rights complaint for that). There are soooo many errors on the report as well, such as "Mother DOES have a criminal history." I am a public school teacher. I have no criminal history. It says I have no knowledge of where her father is. First of all, they NEVER asked me, and secondly, I have his phone number, address, and can always contact him, even though he is in Mexico. I requested drug testing to prove them wrong, and I offered to pay for a hair analysis test. They said it is not admissible. Now I have to call in every night, Sunday through Thursday, for 6 months, to see if I need to be tested the following day. And the testing is from 9-5. Nice hours. I have no worries about the results, I just feel like I have been so wronged. My daughter has said she refuses to ever return to my house. She wants to be placed with the family that was harboring her (including a new 19 year old boyfriend who got her pregnant and took her for an abortion). The cops say I can't prove they knew she was a runaway, and even though she admitted that the boy is her boyfriend, she now denies it, so they say there's nothing I can do. Nothing is consistent, my phonecalls are not returned, and if you were to read the report, parts of it sound like a 6 year old wrote it. I ask this because I have gathered that hair tests pick up drug use over a longer period of time, in some cases up to a year, while urine analysis only takes into account the past thirty days. So if they gave a urine test first thing when I showed up I would be fine, because I plan on quitting at least 2 months before I go and won't have a problem with future ones because I don't plan on continuing usage. However if they do a hair test at entrance and it traces back more than 60 days it would show up and that would obviously be a problem because as far as the test is concerned I might as well have smoked a bunch of pot the night before. Is there anything I can do legally? Last week I was at work and a group of us were pulled off of the floor for urine analysis drug screens. the employees that failed were immediately sent home and terminated, the ones who passed were cleared to go back on the floor for work. The BYU researchers found marked differences in nitrogen and carbon content when hair samples from females at an eating disorder clinic were compared with samples from females who didn't have a problem. The researchers were able to accurately determine the samples from women with eating disorders 80 percent of the time. One of BYU's lead researchers on the study -- Kent Hatch -- said hair acts like a "tape recorder." Hair can record specific life events like eating patterns, drug use and even exposure to dangerous products like mercury and lead. "This would give a clinician an objective measure to use to diagnose an eating disorder, and we hope it will eventually allow a sound diagnosis at an earlier stage," said Hatch. Tests are needed to diagnose eating disorders because those who suffer from them tend to be secretive about their problem or may not even know they have an eating disorder, said Jennifer Tolman -- clinical director at Avalon Hills, a treatment facility in Cache County, Utah. "We had a girl who was 5'10" and weighed 98 pounds, and she wasn't even sure she had an eating disorder, although she could recognize it in others." The recent BYU research was conducted by faculty in integrative biology, communications, statistics and geology -- and grew out of earlier research on the link between eating disorders and exposure to fashion, fitness and beauty magazines. One of the co-authors of the BYU study -- Steven Thomsen -- said it would be helpful to biologically determine the same results based on the prior research with magazines. "We have talked about going back and re-exploring some of the things we've studied and adding this variable," he said. ###

Im looking to participate in medical trials in the UK? and i was wondering about their drug testing proceedures... is it standard to conduct hair folucle testing, alongside urine and blood analysis? I am not a frequent user and can't imagine i will take it again and want to know if i need to wait until my hair grows through. thanks

What medical job allows you to learn to test for these things and can I test myself and loved ones? What health care position would teach me to do tests for the following: Electrolyte Balance, Cholesterol, Thyroid, Hormone Panel, test for drugs, test for STDs, pregnancy, pH testing, candida/fungus, heavy metal, vitamin deficiencies/excesses, be able to see blood under microscope for stickiness, and hair mineral analysis, maybe bacteria/virus / cancer Wonder how to open my own testing center one day. But first want to get the training and work experience. What type of training/education would be needed? If I did get the training and job, would I be able to test myself and loved ones or make my own business testing? Thanks. I am guessing medical lab technician? I don't think medical lab technician does all that. I'm not interested in nursing, too hands on with patients if I make a mistake, I'm a bit awkward personality. HELP! Health problem that doesn't seem to go away!? Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on my health issues, basically I have been ill for around 3 years now, various symptoms like rapid heart rate, depression, anxiety, brain fog, eye floaters, itchy scalp, hair loss, itchy inside of my ear with loads of wax build up, smelly breath, tingling sensations in arms and feet, cold extremities, swollen hands and face and many more. After being admitted into A&E they found I had a low thyroid function as known as hypothyroidism and started me on thyroxine, now my energy is better as I can make it through the day without falling asleep but can't do anything remotely taxing like exercise or manual labour. I have also started to have alot of problems with my stomach in the past year, feeling like I need to go alot, having loose bowel movements, constipation, pains in the lower left, bloating, gas, lots of acid. I also have swollen lymph nodes at the back of my neck and have started to pass what looks like white rice in my stool but I dont eat white rice! I get very random mood swings which seem to change pretty rapidly, I also get extremely hungry and dizzy, crave carbs and sugar alot. I have had blood tests, colonoscopy and am just about to submit a stool test, all tests are okay so far just showing low thyroid function, colonoscopy was clean, Dr has no idea why I'm getting stomach pains and I am going to the toilet at least once a day sometimes more so it can't be that. I have trouble remembering things and can't get out of bed in the morning, this is coupled with night time insomnia, luckily I work from home, I'm 25 year old male btw. I am having such strange problems, I seem to need to urinate more often and often find that my testicles itch when doing so, I also get really strange "fluttering" sensation in them quite often and sometimes get the same feeling close to my rectum area. Sometimes my stomach feels really bruised but on the inside after I have a bowel movement, my Dr gave me drugs for IBS but they didn't help at all with the cramps or stomach issues. I paid to get a hair analysis done and it came up with post virus and parasites, I was also deficiant in biotin and selenium, both of which I've supplemented to get my levels back up. My question is does anyone actually know what this could be, it's such a wide range of symptoms that literally seemed to show up overnight, no doctor seems to take me seriously but I know something is not right. My cat is losing weight, always hungry, pooping on the carpet, and losing her fur. What's wrong? I took my cat to the groomers to be shaved after her fur started matting. When she got home she seemed like she had been drugged. Later I noticed she was losing weight, then she stopped eating dry food. I took her to the vet for a complete blood test, urinalysis, and feces analysis. Everything came back normal. I have been feeding her can food endlessly. She always seems hungry. Recently she has started urinating and defacating on the carpet. This week I gave her Hartz hair ball paste and Drontal dewormer. Now her fur seems to be falling out. Help!!!! She is 4 years old. I have requested a copy of her record with this vet, including the blood work. I should receive that next week.

My family doesnt live close bc they are not v good ppl. i take a lot of self.evaluation tests, (just for general opinion) so that i can get to know myself. i like to watch family guy. i dont smoke. but i do drink. i rarely do drugs, ie; pain pill, weed or coke. sometimes i can be a bit too wild. when im mad watch out i get v personal and cut deep bc i btl things in- BUT i always try to be rational and tell ppl right out what's bothering me and when they dont listen, then i seek revenge verbally (im great at pinpointing weaknesses- so this is startling to ppl when i exploit them). i forgive easily though. sometimes i procrastinate BIG time. im pretty intense, but i look calm. i have intense eyes. im petite and 23. long dark hair and olive coloured skin. pretty face. psychology. i have trust issues, bc my mom emotionally abused me- she hates me. my dads mentally sick. i basically have learned about life and fending for myself and my own way, so far, (though not really i realy owe it to all my excellent mentors, supervisors and teachers whom i noticed as sought me out like they believed in me). guys find me verry attractive, but ive never had a bf bc of trust issues- though i am v comfortable aroud them as friends only. i want to spend the rest of my 20's learning living life to the fullest, then get married have a fam in my 30's. i can be obsessive/angry, it's v hard for me to open up or let go of things. sometimes i get v depressed and it's v hard for me to focus. i look very exotic. i have a sweet voice, ppl call me a sweet talker. im funny and v adventurous. love my coffee and going to the spa. ive been told many times that i have excelllllent communication skills. I also usually dine out all the time, but now I just started grocery shopping (to save money and to learn how to cook). So what do you think? Im crazy? normal? weird? fun? interesting? How to pass my drug test next week? I'm applying to be a loss prevention associate at kmart. i have to go in for a drug test next week. i've smoked in the past but never on a regular basis. the last time i smoked was in september, i only took maybe one hit of weed then, and I smoked a very little bit back in july. Would that be traceable by now? What type of test should I expect to take, urine or hair analysis?

What type of drug test does PETSMART administar to new employees? What kind of drug test does Petsmart make new employees working hourly retail positions get? Is it a dixie cup test, hair test, or a test where they actually take your urine sample and do a lab analysis? Do they make you get a drug test where they tell you right on the spot whether or not you failed, or is it one where they make you submit the urine to an analysis and then you receive a call back?
