While two lines appeared for every other drug, I was left feeling my heart sink to my stomach when only one line showed up. Now- I KNOW I didn't take any opiates. And I was assured that " non- negative doesn't mean positive" ....the test is sent to the lab for further testing, as I await anxious and nervous, questioning the fact that I didn't do opiates. What drugs are tested for with a hair drug test? I am going for a drug test this week for a company I'm starting to work for. How long back do they usually test? Do opiates show up separately (what each one is) or do they just show up as opiates? I have needed 3 root canals for about 2 yrs and have no insurance so Ive been dealing with the pain. My father would give me some of his pain medicines when they were really bothering me. They would hurt for a few weeks at a time and then go away. But he would give me oxycodone or dolophine. I knew I had this test coming up so I went to my doctor and had him give me a script for hydrocodone. Will I be ok since I have a script? I also bought one of those shampoo kits but have only read reviews saying it doesn't work. I need this job and don't know what to do. Should I not say I take anything in case this shampoo works or should I say I have a script for hydrocodone. I am counting on this job because they will give me dental in 90 days and I can get my teeth fixed! There is a small chance that it may be a urine test which would be fine because I don't take anything now that I'm not perscribed and I don't do any street drugs. But I am shaking in my boots about this hair test. Where will they take the hair from?

If the binders and acetaminophen were cooked out of oxycodone then would it be more pure than an oxy im rel? My husband committed suicide not by drug overdose. I found some small packets of white powder afterwards and needles. With a test kit that I ordered on the internet it turned dark purple indicating an opiate. Oxycodone was also present in the autoposy. I got a prescription from my doctor for a 5 mg imm rel oxcodone to see if turned the same dark purple but it barely turned purple. Would that be because of the binders in the pill? I believe my husband may have bought oxycodone then purified it to remove the acetaminophen. He was a chemist. I'm trying to figure out what this powder is and it seems to be oxycodone considering that was in his system but I don't know why it tested so dark purple. Any ideas? Someone previously thought heroin but that was not in his system. Can heroin be missed in an autoposy and show up as oxycodone? I have previously posted similar questions and am still trying to figure this out. I sent the powder to one lab who said it was tadalfil which makes no sense. I'm suppose to hear from a different lab this week. I think there must have been a mix up at the first lab because I tested a tadalafil pill and it did not turn purple at all plus why would someone inject that??
