Hair drug testing information? I'm not a weed smoker, but I smoked one time back in the beginning of April now I have to take a hair drug test. I'm scared of failing!! What are the chances of me failing this drug test from smoking weed one time which was 2 1/2 months ago?

Date rape drug, hair follicle test, police are clueless? My police department has been totally lax regarding a report of rape. Although 911 was called, and I asked to go directly to the hospital, I was brought home. After sleeping for 3 days, I realized that I had probably been drugged. I have very spotty memories of that night after taking one sip from a guy's "amaretto sour." As soon as I was able, I went to the hospital and met with a SAFE nurse, who documented my bruising. drug test question (PLEASE answer!)? I am 115lbs, 5'3. I do not smoke often, maybe once a month. This Sunday I plan to smoke a fairly good amount of marijuana. I'm planning to start drinking huge amounts of green tea, cranberry juice, and water everyday the day after I smoke. The drug test is urine test, for sure. I will have exactly 23 days to clean out my system. With that information, should I be able to pass my drug test? Also: Please do not give me your opinions about smoking marijuana. I just want the answer to my question. I know about the drinks you can drink to clean your system, and I will not be doing any of that. I know about hair folical tests, and as I said, I know they will not be doing that. Please answer my question with an intelligent answer. Thank you.

flexoril information....? I was having sever back cramps the other night and took one 10mg pill of flexoril from my girlfriend because the pain was so bad I couldnt sleep. So the next morning I was thinking I have a hair follicle drug test coming up in about 3 weeks for a government job. Will flexoril show up as a failing test?.....I need help fast. So my Mom thinks I'm doing Ecstasy... and I'm not. Advice? Ok, here's some background information. I'm 15 years old, i lead a very active lifestyle, both in sports and with friends, parties, etc., I live in New York City, and i'm always out on the weekends (my weekdays are filled with school, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai). So, for some reason, whenever i come home past 10 o'clock on a friday or a saturday, my pupils are apparently dilated. Now, I don't enjoy drinking, especially since i have seen the negative effects it can have on a person and their family. (alcoholic family members, YEAH!) I don't smoke cigarettes, and i don't do any hard drugs. I say hard drugs because i've been known to like me some marijuana... but i haven't smoked in a few months for personal reasons. Now, one day on my way out to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, my mom said she saw a pill fall out behind me near the front door. The only problem is, i have no idea how it got there. honestly... i bought a drug test kit to see what the hell it was and it appeared to be an amphetamine. So by now, this is looking really really bad for me. I might buy a hair drug test, seeing as the results show drug history for 90 days. Hopefully this will give my parents a rest in their thoughts that their 15 year old son is going out thizzin' every week. This would also save me some grief. My mom urine tested me last week, and i came up negative for everything. (the test was i believe a 10 or 12 panel.) The only problem is, i have heard about there being false positives. If i get a false positive, my life is over. Like, OVER. Hahaha. And to top the whole situation off, i had a tough semester and failed two classes by half a point each. My own fault, i now have all A's. The funny thing is, a ton of my friends want to try Ecstasy, and i'm the guy who tells them how much it can screw up your brain. question about hair follicle testing? any info would be nice...? I found out that I will have a hair follicle test for a job. It could be in 3 weeks, it could be in 2 months. I've been reading up on them because I've heard many different things about them and much of the information I find contradicts something else that I just read. I'm curious to know how long the test goes back. I've heard years, then I've heard 90 days. I'm just curious because I have pretty long hair, halfway down my back, and I just don't know what they're going to look for and how far back. I have a preexisting ankle injury and I injured it maybe 2 weeks ago, and for about 4 days my mom was giving me some pain killers that weren't prescribed to me just so I wouldn't have to pay a large doctor bill then pay for some meds. But on a worse note, I used to be a recreational pot smoker. So I just want to know how accurate and how far back these tests go, because by the time the test comes, I may be ok if it's only 90 days. I don't need lectures about drugs are bad because I took DARE in fifth grade. I don't use anything except the medicine prescribed to me and weed. But is there a website or book that can give me straight facts with proof to back it up? any help would be appreciated.

Questions regarding marijuana? My friend is thinking about/planning on trying marijuana for the first time, just for the experience. He has assured me that he will ONLY try it once, and ONLY for the experience. I know he's going to try it one way or another, even if I were to tell his parents; he's the kind of person that likes to do things for the experience. I have two questions: How long does marijuana (THC?) stay in the body? -and- How long does marijuana show up on a drug test? E.g. How long does it take before marijuana stops testing positive on a drug test after smoking it? (All versions of the drug test: hair, blood, saliva, urine). I have heard that marijuana never leaves the body, rather it is stored (albeit a small amount) in the fat surrounding the blood vessels. Is this true? I have heard of a company named narconom that has developed a program that uses suana baths to eliminate all lingering drugs in the body, even years after. Does this work? Is this possible to recreate by shutting the bathroom door, while leaving the shower running on the hottest water temperature? If so, how long would it take to "purge" the drugs from someone's system, even if they only smoked marijuana once? (how many treatments?) How long after smoking marijuana should these "DIY" treatments start, and how long should each treatment last? Lastly, a warning to those reading this question, and are thinking about answering: Don't waste your time trying to persuade to not smoke marijuana. Its exactly as I said in the first paragraph of the question; my friend wants to smoke marijuana, not me. Not sure when my drug test is but...please, I need your help!? I applied to Home Depot in January, and they have finally called me last week on sunday (Feb. 15th). However, I smoked on Friday night. We passed around 2 blunts. I am not a heavy smoker. I've smoked a couple times before around the fall of 2006, then I smoked once in October 2008, which was about 4 months ago. I've been drinking 2 bottles of water, and probably that's not enough, but i'm also going to start exercising. I'm 5'0 about 125lbs. i'm kinda round, but not so chubby. So I have a couple questions: 1. What method does Home Depot (or other places) use for drug testing? I think it's urine, but just wanted to ask around. 2. Do you have to show some type of Identification when you buy a home drug testing kit? or can you just put it in your basket and buy it like any other items? or by selfchecks? 3. I've been researching about how far back a urine test can detect drugs, in my case weed. If i'm not mistaken.. Urine: 2 weeks to 1 month Oral: a couple days ~ 1 or 2 weeks Blood: 2 weeks to a couple months Hair: a couple months ~ a year correct me if i'm wrong please. if anyone has an accurate or correct information, please tell me. Do I have a basis for appeal in the State of TX for the following:? The State's motion in Limine for the following was granted by a District Judge in the State of TX. 1. 23 months of random UA and Hair Follicle Drug Tests, all of which are negative and favorable to the defendant in a case charging her with obtaining and or possessing drugs by fraud, The neg. test results clearly show that the defendant was not using prescription or illicit drugs 6 months prior to, on the day of, and for at least 18 mos. after the fraud occured. The defendant's hair was long enough to go back at least 9 months from the time of indictment, and she continued to submit at random to these tests until the time of trial. 2. Information contained within the Detective's application for an arrest warrant, mentioned to and discussed with the defendant during a police taped interview were successfully excluded, as were 3. other favorable prescription info favorable to the defendant. The motion in Limine was granted b/c the evidence favorable to the defendant was deemed to be irrelevant by the District Judge. I am trying to find out if energy drinks can give you a false positive on a EtG alcohol screening? I work at a place that we have to monitor certain people and they are on a contract with us and they have to call in everyday to see if they have to do a drug test or a EtG alcohol test, or a hair test. So me and my boss overheard some information that some energy drinks can give you a false positive for alcohol in your system and alot of our clients WAS drinking them before we told them to stop because they where coming up positive for other things with the energy drinks. So if anyone knows if this true and can back it up with a website that states that information so I can give to my boss would be helpful..... THANKS

Jurisdiction question in custody case. OH judge ruled in favor of father even though NC has jurisdiction?.? My sister and niece moved from NC to Ohio about 2 years ago. My nieces father already lived in Ohio but my sister moved there to be with some other guy..my niece was 5 at this time and her mother and father had been broken up since before she even turned a year old. My sister is a bit of an idiot and got credit cards in her daughter's name. The payments were on time and she thought she'd be helping my nieces credit and she only used to them to get things for my niece. Well anyways the father went snooping through my sister's purse and found the credit cards and didn't say a word to her about it. He went to the courthouse and filed for emergency custody on the grounds that my sister was about to be arrested for the credit cards and he said that she was planning to move back to NC. My sister was in-fact planning on moving back to NC but was not about to get arrested. In fact the police officer that called her about it agreed that my sister hadn't used the cards for anything wrong and did tell her that it was a dumb idea but they weren't going to press any kind of charges. So the father got temporary custody because he lied to the judge. Well he lied on a lot of other papers too but that's not the point. My sister had no idea that he had done that and didn't find out until 2 weeks later (on mother's day) when the father called her and said he wanted my niece home at a certain time because she needed to spend time with his girlfriend (mother of his other child) on mother's day. So then the custody battle started. You need to know that my niece was born in NC and spent the first 5 years of her life here in NC with only her mother. The father of course lied on the court papers and said that my niece was born in Ohio. Well the judge found out that the father had lied and gave him another chance and let him go to NC to get a jurisdiction change. Well the father stopped his child support in NC instead. The judge found out and once again gave him another chance to fix it so the father applied for the jurisdiction change but never showed up to the court date here in NC. My parents called the supervisor of the clerk of courts here in NC and found out about it. Well the father and his lawyer told the judge that he got the jurisdiction change and showed some paper. The judge (surprise surprise) bought it and basically in the end gave the father residential parent which left my sister only able to see her daughter every other weekend. The father also failed a hair follicle drug test among other things he did wrong. Granted..my sister did a whole bunch of stupid stuff as well. Such as getting in trouble for theft and some other things. So basically I'm sure that the judge had a hard time deciding. One more piece of information that could be important: My sister had lived in Ohio for exactly 6 months when the father got the emergency custody thing. My parents supported my niece for the most part throughout the first five years of her life. My nieces father (through NC courts) only had visitation 2 weeks in the summer, and I think every other holiday. which he never took advantage of. My niece hardly knew her dad and was raised by my family until her mother decided to move back to Ohio. The father was also behind $800 in his child support payments (which was also held here in NC) when he was given temporary custody of my niece which means that he was still behind when he came here to stop his child support. So based on all of the information I've just given you do you think that the judge's decision could still be valid if the father never actually got the change of jurisdiction he was sent here to do? Ok please understand that I'm not defending my sister because the things that she's done are ridiculous. My poor mom (who pretty much raised my niece) is trying her hardest to get my niece away from her father and her mother but because my mom lives in NC no lawyer can help her. Also the judge in Ohio is corrupt..not because he gave my niece to her father but because of the fact that he even admitted that he should have never taken the case. But gave the father another chance anyways. I can understand forgetting some details over 5 years but forgetting that he drove to NC to be there for my nieces birth is a pretty big thing to forget. He lied to make it look like my niece had more ties to Ohio than just the six months she was there. I'm only asking a question..and it's only for my mom.

Maybe some experience is needed to answer this question? I have a very close friend - almost family really - that was doing meth for about 2-3 years. Noone knew and he got away with it for a long time. He was finally caught because his boss confronted him. His boss told him he had to go to rehab because meth is not something you can just stop 'cold turkey' without help. BUT he didn't. He said he stopped, took a drug test {one of those hair tests that tests back 90 days} for work and passed but I'm scard that without this help he will eventually go back. I have read statistics that say that only less than 6% of meth users go back to it if they don't receive the proper treatment. Does anyone know if this is true? Any other statistics that you can share. We want to become roommates but I'm scared that he will eventually go back to this. Any information would be appreciated!

Will my prescription meds show up in a pre-employment drug screening?? Need Legit answers, not speculation.? Now before anyone goes and thinks im a pill popper or addict here's what im trying to figure out... I am having a job interview with a company that is extremely nosy when it comes to the medical history of its interviewees. I know this because i interviewed with them a few years ago for a position only to find out that my bmi was too high to work for them at the time and that they wont hire smokers. The nurses who assessed my medical history had all sorts of questions concerning my health and prescription drug consumption. Basically because this company doesn't want to hire anyone who is sick or on a lot of meds because they strive to keep their operational costs (health insurance premiums included) Low. So here's what i take... I started to take Wellbutrin or generic Budrepion as an aid for smoking cessation a few years back. Once i started taking it i realized what other positive effects it had on my persona and my doctor advised that i stay on it. I also on occasion take xanax, not every day, but maybe 1 every few days when my anxiety gets really high. I need to know if either of these meds will show up in a urine test or a hair follicle test. If not, then i shouldn't have to disclose my private medical information to this greedy company. Its amazing that they will pass over the best quailfied candidate for a job for the smallest health concern BTW, I dont feel comfortable disclosing what company it is that i am interviewing for, but i will say it is a union job, for a fortune 100 company that has some strange pre-employment polcies. And the strangest thing of all is that once you work there you can have as many issues and be as morbidly overweight as you want and they will put you on leave and pay you to get better and/or loose weight.

So, the next time that you think that you can hide your drug habits by buying something from the local headshop to remove all traces of drugs in your system, think again, while the drug trade developes chemicals to remove them from your system, law enforcement is also working on other ways to detect these drugs in your system, and this is just information for you to do whatever you want with it, I don't care, but don't think that you can escape any type of a drug test if your a steady user of illegal drugs. Is this discrimination at a medical clinic? Okay so I have to do a drug test for work... So I go in today at 11:50pm... My paperwork says they close at 1pm. Well I get there and the door says Sorry we are closed... So Im in disbelief cause theres people in there and I am supposed to start working on Monday... Well another lady comes in with her banged up daughter and starts freaking out (We are locked out of this place but you can see us in the window and we are in the lobby area) -- She had come from their sister location and was told they didn't close till 1pm (mind you the sign had medical tape over where it says 1 and written over with marker that now reads 12) Well this lady starts freaking the fuck out -- me & her call the place and finally someone comes out to tame us... Well this lady starts threatening complaints etc... And I'm trying to be polite and plead with them... They finally agree to see the womans daughter who needed blood work... I was ready to go with my drug test & they REFUSED to see me... BTW I have pink hair, piercings & tattoos So the cops were called and I'm out in the lobby area crying because Im afraid Im going to lose my job and we tell the officer what happened & I showed him my paperwork... So he goes and talks to them -- they tell him Yes it would only in fact take 10 minutes to see me but they were trying to get out of there... They even refused the officer... Well how can you see one person and refuse the other? I saw that bitch eyeing my hair... I'm pretty sure its discrimation... So now my employment is on the line and the officer gave me his information -- The guy feels bad for me because he knows what they are doing is wrong... Can HIV cause skin rashes or skin problems? What if I'm too scared to be tested? I've been having lots of problems with MRSA skin infections mainly from follicuitis (infected hair follicules). Now, I've been getting strange rashes. I've a bunch of itchy bumps running up my whole side. I'm scared I may have HIV and I'll only know if I am tested. is there any prescribed medication i should ask my doctor about? ever since i can remember i have had strange feelings in my left leg. Since the past two years i have notice a major increase in these feelings. It is now practically a everyday/night occurrence. I have spoke to two different doctors about this, they have both gave me different drugs to try and different theory's on the condition (both never mentioning rls). One was a pain reliever, i cannot remember the name (non-narcotic),and the other was amitriptyline an anti-depressant. Both doctors seemed like they didnt believe me about my condition. They both refused to prescribe narcotic medication for the pain. I have tried everything i can, i have lost some weight, tried keeping an even sleeping schedule, reduced my coffee/soda intake and quit smoking. The warm baths, massages, jogging, walking and stretches only temporarily reduce the pain. I hope i don't have to resort to narcotic medication to help this but im at the last straw. i am 21 and i feel 80 because of my leg! I have told the doctors all this information here (they did give me x-rays and urine tests. i just want a way to relieve the pain at night, i can handle it during the day. im sorry for rambling but these doctors just seem to think im there to get drugs or something. I do have long hair and tattoos, and some people say i look like a stoner or what have you. And i hope that isn't the case here, but i guess my question is, is there any prescribed medication i should ask my doctor about? None narcotic, or at least not that habit forming?

Just started this story, rough, rough draft, looking for opinions? Part 1 of 4 – How this all came to be… 1. Wednesday’s are notorious for being the slowest day of the week. Every tick of the clock seems to move backward, and watching it only makes those movements backwards a hell of a lot slower. And as those ticks clicked backwards, Johnny could feel his pulse and temperature rising ever so slightly. The back of his neck felt like sun burn after being slapped, and his blood pressure bumped and thumped like the blood was trying to break loose. He’d look back at the clock, waiting, and waiting, and waiting for 3:15. 3:15 was the book of Revelation to him. It meant the day was over, at least for a couple more hours. It meant he could back home, relax, take a shower, masturbate, discuss the meaning of everything. But 3:15 was still a ways a way. He yawned and positioned himself in as many awkward positions as time would allow. Any awkward position would keep him awake, but only for a moment. Soon his inner body would adjust, and start falling asleep again. He felt mechanical. Two sides of him were competing for attention. Johnny’s arousal level is less than willing to continue. Who would have thought 18th century Japanese literature could be so boring? Johnny wondered if all literature was so boring. He even went as far to wonder if culture in general and everything about it was this boring. All the films, books, and paintings. Every poem, paragraph and page every written and typed, was it all bullshit. “What do you think, Johnny?” his professor asked. He realized his wandering eyes, and heavy yawns had attracted the attention of his teacher. “Uh, yeah.” He answered. The class giggled in unison. He had no clue what the lecture was about, hadn’t even paid attention in the last week. Johnny wasn’t even entirely sure he was reading from the same book as everyone else. “Mr. Walsh, part of your grade is participation. So I am asking for your opinion.” The professor was dead serious, in your face. The class’ eyes were all on him, waiting for his opinion. “I’m going to be honest, I have no clue what you’re talking about.” He answered. The laughs came back, but there were fewer this time around, like an inside joke that only a few are apart of. “Looks like that will be an F for participation today, Mr. Walsh.” The professor stared at him, half expecting a reply but continued right on with what he was talking about. Johnny wondered what this guy was like in middle or high school. Probably the kid who got quarters thrown at him in study hall. Johnny laughed on the inside at the thought of flying George Washingtons hitting him on the head. His gazed returned to the outside, where the weather was becoming more and more brilliant by the moment. The clouds were turning a light gray, not the kind that bring rain, but the kind that make Johnny feel complete. There was a slight breeze, he could discern from the swaying trees. Some kids were playing soccer on the lawn. Kicking the black and white ball back and forth. It didn’t appear there were any defined goals. There didn’t need to be, the whole point was just to be outside. Some other kids were just sitting under trees text or fictional books sprawled across their laps, ingesting the whole sum of human knowledge. Johnny’s deep blue eyes slightly watered at the thought that this was it. This room would be the end of him, and he knew it. His mood was in a downward spiral since the start of the summer. Among them such classics as the Campbell Scott version of Hamlet, the 1989 film When Harry Met Sally, and the fifth Star Trek film. The odd assortment of films was the way Timothy liked to watch them. He never liked to watch the same genre twice in a row. The past two weeks had been a rare exception to the rule. Consistency was key, as he examined the various productions of Hamlet. Timothy was looking for the differences between each production. The smallest of details, such as camera or lighting, and he jotted them down in a notebook. With his copy of Hamlet to his side, Johnny would here him all the way down the hall. To Pennsylvania. To Pittsburgh. It was being absorbed in the hearts of the young, being prepared for passage to another generation. Timothy was not enjoying this version of Macbeth at all. Maybe it was the black and white of it all, but Timothy could not even stand to finish it. He turned it off and returned it to it’s proper case. His afternoon was carefully planned to have enough time to watch this, then the Roman Polanski version, then study for the up and coming “exam of the semester, quite possibly my life” is what he was calling it. The change in plans gave him some extra free time. So he stared at the wall, working on the story waiting to be poured onto paper. 5. Johnny quickly left the lecture hall, not wanting to be stopped by Professor Asshole on the way out. For the obvious and not so obvious reasons. He had pretty much been uninterested in anything but philosophy since he took his first class all those years ago. The ideas and thoughts and logic of the past four thousand years was constantly bouncing around in his mind, and his pure undivided attention was constantly on that. Pondering and wondering. Thinking and reasoning. 6. Timothy had a notebook where he kept pictures and comments. Little shreds and bits of information that he eventually thought would help him in the screenwriting process. His whole view of Planet Earth changed when he would doodle away at the notebook. The cries for help from Africa, the depleting ozone layer, the pollution and over population, the whole world just went away. His friends, mostly Johnny, often wondered if there was a screw or two loose. Something just never made sense with Timothy. In all actuality, that is just the way he presented himself. One step behind the rest. He scrawled a few shapes and figures into the notebook. Hoping that some ultimately amazing wonderful tidbit of dialogue would come pouring outward onto the paper. Some great quote that college kids, and adults alike would continue saying for years afterwards. Something inspirational, and spine tingling. His getting longer by the day black hair was at his eyes right now. He loved the way it blew in the wind, even if everyone he knows did not. He was slightly chubby, but nothing a doctor would recommend a safer diet over. Most of the clothes he wears are two sizes too big, and he only shaves when he absolutely has to. Yet he cannot grow a full beard at this point. More like sporadic spots of hairs. A “chin strap” is what some up tight sorority girl had called it last semester. His school nurse, and his eye doctor all decided he should wear corrective lenses. He never does, except when he’s behind the wheel of a car. The glasses he has now are the same ones he got in junior high. He ponders lighting up the old bubbler. Let rip a few quick hits of the wacky tobaccy before he sails off to watch the other version of Macbeth. He draws a man drowning at sea with a bubble above it screaming help. Next to that he draws a big boat and writes TITANTIC along the side. The guy in the tower has a bubble now too. It says “sorry pal, can’t stop for nothing.” He laughs to himself and closes the notebook. Another day at the office he assures himself. 7. Jocelyn is walking down the aisle of the auditorium, the weight of her bag to her side. If someone was observing her from the backside, they would think she was having a seizure the way she was walking. She could truly care less though. Abortion was an idea that she hadn’t really thought about at all. She remembered in the weeks after she told Johnny she was pregnant, she could see it in his eyes. Those eyes that were begging for an abortion chit chat. It seemed to her that he was just waiting for her to bring it up.She had wanted to talk about it, but every time she saw that he was eager and willing to get rid of this child, it angered her, and made her want it that much more. And now, she insisted it was too late. She remembered when she was an undergrad, and walking along Forbes Ave, some old lady was holding a great big poster, depicting an abortion at twenty-three weeks. The picture was disturbing but effective in one aspect. She stopped and yelled at the old woman, declaring it was a women’s right to choose. She even attended a march for Female’s Rights a few years back. She had always argued in favor of it, but now, when it was her child, she couldn’t help but cradle her belly and imagine the life she planned to give her child. Whether or not Johnny was going to be apart of it, was debatable. 8. In the last ten minutes of each hour, the hallways filled up with students from every area of the globe. Johnny had come from a suburban white man’s paradise. Coming to Pitt was the biggest culture shock he had ever received. A lifetime of one type of person, and suddenly inserted into the throbbing heart of the idea of America. He had savored every moment, unlearning everything K through 12 taught him. Public Education, he declared in an essay, was flawed. It was one dimensional. He considered the pledge of Allegiance. Writing about the pledge, he realized he couldn’t even remember it. We spend thirteen years, reciting the Pledge daily, to leave it behind once we leave high school. He had not said it once since then. And it was a system of control. Implemented by men in suits far away trying to curb individualism. Or so he had wrote. “Hey.” A voice called from behind him. It was Justine. He turned to see her smiling and eager to talk. “Hiya.” He replied, smiling. Justine was a nice break from the going to be a father routine. “Boring class.” She said, slugging her book bag over her shoulder. “Is it ever exciting?” he questioned. “You damn philosophers, always asking questions but never coming up with any real answers.” She laughed. Johnny leaned in real close to her, almost directly next to her ear. “That’s what makes us so attractive.” He laughed, and so did she. It was a I-Want-You laugh. But both of them knew the reality of Johnny’s situation. Both of them knew that on it’s way was a boy or girl, and for the next eighteen years or so, Johnny would be busy cradling, raising, and sending off to college a child. “You wanna go get a cup of coffee?” She asked. Her name was Tammy, and she nearly waited everyday outside the door. Tammy always asked the most interesting questions about psychology. She seemed generally interested in it, and Jocelyn assumed this girl would eventually declare psych as a major. She just hated the idea of her waiting till after class to ask the question. Tammy was obviously shy. But the questions she was asking were ones the whole class could benefit from. “Ms. Everett, hey, how are you.” Tammy said. She was still holding her notebook, and glancing at it as she walked up. “I’m pregnant.” She replied, solemnly. She hoped the question would be simple. She wanted to go lie down and eat a half pint of ice cream. “Oh, really, I hadn’t noticed.” Tammy smile, nervously. “Anyway, I just have a quick question.” “Concerning neurons?” “Ummm, not quite. I was looking through your page on the school’s website.” She started. Jocelyn felt suddenly violated. You looked at my website, for what? “I saw that you were a part of a undergraduate research project.” Christ, this is going to take forever. “And I was curious how one gets involved in such things.” She was just a curious student, curious like she was when she started school. Jocelyn didn’t really have an appointment, at least not today. But she was exhausted, lugging her bag of education all around campus. She never envisioned doing this while pregnant. She suddenly was jealous of her friends from high school. They were either engaged or married to men who were going to take care of them for the rest of their lives. She wondered if she had just shattered a girl’s dreams of making a difference. She always said the biggest problem with the youth was no one wanted to make a difference. Perhaps it was because there were so many problems that the aspect of making a difference was such a loaded issue. Global warming, overpopulation, health care, mental health. There were more problems than solutions associated with those. And now it was her generation’s responsibility to correct all this. The past fifty years of American Hedonism and unilaterialism had pretty much destroyed any prospect of America in the future. And now, when her generation failed there would be nothing but cynicism towards her. She imagined her child, starving to death, or dying of an uninsured illness saying “Thanks a lot, Mom. Thanks for letting me die.” She felt like crying. And maybe as she was watching t.v. and eating Ben and Jerry’s she would. She would let a small river, or creek of tears stream down her face and try and be optimistic. 9. Timothy burnt his thumb lighting up his bubbler. He usually did, especially when trying to take a big hit. Smoke billowed up from the marijuana, and he held in the lung-full hit he had taken. He could feel it lingering in his lungs. A little longer. He could see the gray color sinking into his lungs, and the smaller molecules journeying to his brain. He could see the smaller molecules binding to his neurons, and completely fucking him up. Joceyln had explained it all to him one time. One day when the two of them were stoned, she told him exactly what happened upstairs. He always liked getting stoned with Jocelyn, but she hadn’t smoked in a long, long time. Ever since she decided she wanted to be a doctor. But only lately had she become the uptight chick she was. At this point, he just felt bad for Johnny. He could see the way Johnny looked at her and knew his friend didn’t want that. But the two of them were far past breaking up at this point. Even if they wanted to, they had been brought up to respect the idea of the American family. Raised in a house with a mom and dad. The sad part was that neither of them were completely sure of it. Johnny had never said anything, but it was the way he acted around her, or didn’t act around her. He did not respond to her like he used to. It used to be she said jump, and he was in the air. But now, it seemed it was all Jocelyn could do to keep him around. He remembered one night he’d come home from class, and there was a note one the table saying he was going away for a little bit, to clear his head. Johnny had just up and left. But he was back by the next day. When Timothy asked him what was wrong, he just said he was stressed and left it at that. Another big hit, and he could feel the drug kick in. Everything became heavy and light. It felt like his conscious was trying to keep up with reality.

What is my Medical Condition? First let me say that I don't really believe in taking medicine. I've been always focusing on healing myself through herbs and natural things. I researched everything I can do for myself to limit the pain. I take vitamins. I eat healthy. I work out when I can bare it. It was hard at first to have to will power to adjust to this lifestyle at such a young age, but I got it under control now. I don't do drugs and only drink on special occasions. I'm 20 years old and struggling with fibromayaliga, or what they think I have, but I think I have something that I don't know about, and it's been bothering me a lot. The main thing that worried me lately is that my right eye the skin above my eyebrow is slowly overtime sagging. Now, I know that sounds silly, but I've known my face for as long as I can remember, and I definitely see a change. A fact that you should know that I think might have something to so with this is ..when I was 15 I was hit in the face with a softball during a game I was playing and I fractured the bone below my eye. I guess would be called the cheek bone. I was tested for pretty much everything that go along with these symptoms. I don't take any medication. I'm not worried about the pain at this point. I am worried about what medical condition I really have. To me I can't except the fact that I only have Fibromayaliga. Anyways hear are a list of my symptoms. My symptoms: TMJ Horrible Gas pain Muscle spasms Joint, muscle and bone pain. Cracking of joints I use to have 20/20 Vision but now I feel like that's changed Constant headaches Random light headedness Anemia Ringing in ears Face pain Stiffness Anxiety attacks toe numbness loss of some hair Bruise easily loss of weight This is the gist of the symptoms. At first I thought I might of had Lyme. They tested me twice and the results both came back negative. Still kind of convinced I have it.
