How to pass an alcohol hair test? I have a custody suit going on and I was asked to do a hair folicle test for alcohol. I have been having alcoholic drinks 2 times a week, but have stopped. How do I pass this test? Is there anything I can do?

Please can someone tell me if the following results show a moderate or heavy drinker, testing done over a period of 3 months on hair samples - 0.211, 0.146, 0.104. I already know that this shows he presence of alcohol consumed, what I need to know (urgently!) is what is a level in the above format that would be considered a chronic drinker of alcohol? i.e. 0.5/0.35/1.5 and so on. Can bleaching your hair remove alcohol from hair testing (not an etg test)? I am on probation, now alcohol free, but I did drink when I was not supposed to. If a hair sample is taken, I am screwed. Someone told me that bleaching your hair then using a product call crystal clear will remove all toxins from the hair follicle. I doubt this, but wanted to know if it is true before spending $70 on Toxin Wash (toxinwash.com). Or does anyone know of a way to completely rid your hair of toxins for good...I am NEVER going to drink again, not worth the risk of health, family or jail. I also heard that it can take like 100 days for the alcohol metabolite to reach the epidermis then to the hair follicle. Truth on this either? And lastly, does anyone know of a product that actually works by taking all the toxins (all I am worried about is alcohol) out of your hair (including armit and pubic)? Hair test positive for cocaine - what does this level mean? 12.4 ng/mL...? Stupid ex-husband tested positive for cocaine on a hair test. First time he's been drug alcohol tested this time around and he knew it was coming (tested + on ETG alcohol too). Can I use clarifying shampoo to help me pass a hair strand drug test? I'm battling DSS over marijuana to get custody of my child back. I'm taking drug/alcohol classes and have stopped smoking, but I'm worried that my hair will still show positive when tested in 3 to 4 months time. passing drug/alcohol test while on probation? I recently received my 1st DUI in a small town in the state of GA. Along with all the standard DUI punishments (MADD classes, Driving courses, fines etc) I'm on probation for one year. My first meeting with my probation officer is tomorrow. I DO NOT do any drugs, (except for a tylenol on the rare occasion) I am more concerned about alcohol. I haven't had a drink since before I was sentenced, so I should be in the clear. My probation officer said that I MAY have to give a urine, blood, or hair sample. Here's my predicament....I don't have a problem giving up booze for a year, however I'm getting married in August, and would like to have a drink at my OWN WEDDING/HONEYMOON!!! I'm nervous about drinking at all because I don't know what they test for in blood or hair. I know that as long as I don't drink at least 48hrs before my test, it won't show up in urine. I am trying to find out if energy drinks can give you a false positive on a EtG alcohol screening? I work at a place that we have to monitor certain people and they are on a contract with us and they have to call in everyday to see if they have to do a drug test or a EtG alcohol test, or a hair test. So me and my boss overheard some information that some energy drinks can give you a false positive for alcohol in your system and alot of our clients WAS drinking them before we told them to stop because they where coming up positive for other things with the energy drinks. Why would a court order a hair follicle drug test when you went in for a drinking charge? My buddy and I were pulled over a few months ago at a DUI roadblock. They tested us for drunk driving and I had not been drinking so I was fine. My buddy on the other hand I guess had been drinking at the house we were at (without my knowledge) and he blew a 0.5 on the breathalyzer test. Well he's only 20, so they gave him a under age drinking ticket. Well this morning he went to court and told them he had accidentally ate some jungle juice fruit but that was all the alcohol he had consumed. The judge told him he didn't believe him and ordered a hair follicle test to see if he has been doing anything else in the last few months. My question is why would this judge order a hair follicle test if you are going in for a drinking ticket? and what is the judge trying to prove with this test? what are the penalties if my buddy fails these tests? a bigger fine, jail time? I don't understand why it matters now what type of drugs he has in his system. They can't send you to jail for doing drugs without being caught with them can they? he has smoked weed and done X a few times in the last few months. If anyone can help me to answer these question that would be great. Some people seem a little confused about who was the driver. I was, i'm the one who wasn't drinking. He was my passenger. How can you do a home test to see if a teen's been drinking alcohol? I'm 15. Got at etg test coming from probation. Have not drank for almost 80 hours. Drink lots of Vodka.? I usually can drink a full liter of vodka in 2 days. I got a thyroid test taken last friday. well with a blood test. everything came back normal. the heart doctor told me to go to one because he thought the symptoms i had were caused by my thyroid. i had a ekg, a basic blood test and tsh test done. all normal. i drank alcohol the night before i took the thyroid test. can it effect the results? i took the thyroid test in the afternoon. I have some symptoms of a underactive thyroid. hair thinning, coldness, depression yeah and i also took the test around 4 pm i heard u should take it in the morning.
Will I not get hired because of a hair drug test??? I last smoked marijuana on Sept. 22, 2007. Which is about 70 something days ago. I had my test last friday. I rarely smoked marijuana before that day and I have also had 3 haircuts since the last time i smoked ( im a guy). I also used this product http://www.statdetox.com/shampoo_kit.htm Kind of off topic but... they are also doing a background check and i have misdeameanors for underage possession of alcohol. Would this be a reason for them not to hire me? Pleaseeee i am breakign down here. i was told about the drug test after i was given an offer. no prior warning that there was going to be a drug test at all.

Is it legal to deny a job to someone based on urine test if they have just come from a country where its legal With Mexico poised to legalize personal use of pot, cocaine and heroin is it fair to penalize U.S. residents who travel there and consume these legal products who then upon returning to the U.S. abide by U.S. laws and refrain from these products yet when tested for these products by urine, blood or hair analysis may test positive? Are we when in the jurisdiction of another sovereign nation still subject to U.S. laws which are in conflict with that nations laws? During prohibation if one went to Canada and got drunk and then returned to the U.S. with a high alcohol blood level could you be jailed for pursuing legal activities in a foreign nation? If I aply for a job or am on probation and must be tested to make sure I have not violated U.S. drug laws should I be held to this standard if the country I just visited allows this practice? These chemicals stay in the body long after their initial use. Does the government have the right to dictate my legal pursuits in another country?
Alcohol detection after last use? After a period of alcohol abuse, how long does one have to remain abstinent to avoid detection by a urine test? I'm talking about methods aside from liver funtion and hair sample tests. Also, the only method of collection would be urine, not hair or blood.
Hair drug testing, does light use show up? I know, I know, drugs are bad, don't do them, ect. I'm so tired of hearing that response, so please keep it to yourself. Okay, so my question is this. If I smoked weed once two months ago, and I took a Darvocet about a week or two ago, will this show up on a hair drug test? Or does it only show extensive use? Also, will alcohol show up, or is that generally not tested for? Before anyone says "You shouldn't have done drugs if you knew you were going to get tested" I would simply like to state, that I thought the test was a urine test, I wasn't aware that it was going to be a hair test.
Questions about pre-employement drug test.? I've never took a drug test before and I am being asked to take one for PetSmart tomorrow. Will they more likely do a pee, saliva, or hair test? I've smoked pot before but it's been over a year and I experimented with meth 3 weeks ago. Which is awful, I thought I was seriously going to die. Drugs are NOT my thing anymore. I drank alcohol last night but just two smirnoffs which don't have a high percentage of alcohol as it is. If you take a hair specimen to a dermatologist and for whatever reason the decision was made not to do any? analysis, (I've worked medical so I know what lab tests etc. mean and what they can encompass), what happens to the specimen? The specimen was put immediately into a sterile jar of alcohol so contamination isn't the issue. Thanks for your help. Nancy
Hair Follicle Drug Testing? Recently I had a hair follicle drug test for a job opportunity. I am in my late thirties and other than trying pot when I was fifteen I have not done drugs. My test just came back positive for cocaine use. It has to be a lab error. Do you know if this is common? Also, I am going through a very non-amicable divorce. My husband has been known to use drugs and severely abuses alcohol. He has an arrest record for both DUI's and Domestic Violence. Is it possible to put something in food or shampoo where it would go undetected by me and would show up in my hair follicle? I know that this sounds crazy, but he continues to harass me and stalk me. And over the last few months I have had trouble sleeping, sometimes I get up at night vomitting, diarrahea and have been experiencing intermittent but severe heartburn. My doctor has never been able to diagnose anything except that I may have depression issues. I am now on medication for that. I really need some answers.

What drugs will not show up in a drug test? I'm looking for a replacement for smoking marijuana. I really used to enjoy smoking marijuana, but the company that I work for does hair and urine tests for drugs. I'm wondering if there are any drugs out there that I can do still that will relax me like marijuana used to without getting me fired from my place of employment. I just quit drinking, as the effects of alcohol have become more bothersome to me than comforting and I would really like to have that mellow euphoric feeling that I had come to love with marijuana again. Any recommendations?
I use pureology shampoo, BUT i need to control dandruff? I use pureology(which is anti-suflate and alcohol and vegan shampoo/conditioner/products) and it works wonders on my hair. But I need something to get rid of dandruff that does have sulfate/alcohol and is not tested on animals. Any ideas?
