I know that 8 panel UA's (drug screenings) test for creatine in urine to check water content and if the level is too low then it looks suspicious. If they are very low it can sometimes count as a positive (hot, dirty). However since the EtG test always performs a LC/MS/MS (Light Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry/ Mass Spectrometry) process, will high water content ("dilution") be considered in the testing? I drank 3 beers over a week ago so I am not worried about testing positive, but getting a diluted on a EtG which could result in my probation office defaulting as a positive would not be good news for me.

I work out side in the sun, so I was basically sweating most of the day. in addition to drinking more water then I normally do I chugged a 2 gallon bottle of it. I get a random drug/alcohol urine test and I need to know what type of test i am getting. My lab slip said a ethanol urine, I assume that is a regular alcohol urine test. However there is a new test, EgT that is very sensitive and can detect alcohol use even from mouthwash for up to 80 hours. If you get the EgT test, do they tell you to stay away from certain products? I was not informed either way and I would like to know without having to ask my PO. Any advice? Anyone being tested? urine test for alcohol, difference between non egt and egt? I understand that the Egt tests an enzime from the liver up to 80 hours after drinking. Does an egt test ever come up as undiluted, like a non egt test? First of all, I'm in the position to be tested because of a DWI back in May of 08, when I was court ordered to abstain from alcohol. This is what i did to try to fool an etg alcohol test, could it possibly work? One night i had 5 drinks. I weigh 150lbs and have approximately 9% body fat. the etg tests back 80 hours and I only had 36. I ran 6 miles, drank 2.5 gallons of cranberry juice. I work out side in the sun, so I was basically sweating most of the day. in addition to drinking more water then I normally do I chugged a 2 gallon bottle of it. Finally during that 36 hour period I consumed 1600 mg worth o niacin pills. Do I have a shot? a diluted result would work for me too.

Most people will say refrain from drinking, obviously, that is the best choice. However if you have already drank, and have a piss test the next day, how do you get ETG out of your urine? Doing prolonged workouts (long distance) will help your body expel any toxins, and allow you to consume more water. What do you think of a public school providing random drug tests to students? Just for having a parking pass (or being in extracirricular activities) puts students at Milford High School in a pool for random drug testing (which also can test for alcohol consumed within the last 80 hours), which they are required to submit to. Failure to submit a sample upon request leads to the retraction of the privileges that enables them into the pool (such as having a parking pass - it would be taken away). Fun and games with alcohol and the ETG - a little help? Anybody take an ETG urine test? Anybody have any experience with them or the concepts behind them? I had to take one today (Thursday), and I accidentally swallowed some listerine back on Monday. I had not been drinking for days before that and have not had anything to drink since. Strange Alcohol Effects? So recently I've been having a very strange reaction to drinking alcohol, I begun testing myself a few weeks ago in the privacy of my own home. I'm actually intoxicated right now as I am writing this. I have had about 5-6 shots of Captain Morgans (80 proof) in the last 3 hours. This is what I am feeling: I basically feel like I have tremendous energy, I tested myself lifting weights, I can curl almost 15 pounds more than I normally can while I'm sober, my heart rate is slightly higher than normal (but not at an unhealthy level), and I have the feeling that like I can do anything. Now I know that might sound weird... but the strangest part is that I can think clearly in spite of all this. The things I feel like doing, such as going out and partying at a club or finding somewhere to go with friends, I can stop myself easily. I still have total control over my actions, and of course would do nothing stupid (unless you count online poker, which ironically I play better under the influence). The reason I am posting this is b/c I want to know if anyone has experienced something similar or if this may be a cause for any alarm. Please give me any advice you may have.

ETG question!!! Just got tested 20 minutes ago!!? I had alcohol while on a trip to NYC, that was over 105 hours ago. My biggest concern is that a met a guy who has the same PO as I do, and he claims he had alcohol about 2 weeks before his test and he failed. I called the Lab that my PO's office uses in California, Redwood and they said you could be a full blown alcoholic and abstain for 80 hours and you should pass. Will I get drug tested for a DUI? I have no drug charges, so will I be pee tested? I was arrested for DUI about 6 months ago (no drugs or alcohol in the car, but I blew a .17, I was DRUNK)...I am 21 yrs old and had a squeaky clean record. This is my first charge ever, so I got youthful offender status or whatever. The judge said if i complete 80 hours of community service, attend a lvl. 1 drunk driving class, and pay my fines that my DUI charge will be ERASED OFF MY RECORD. Last week I went to my court refferal officer and took this silly written test to conclude or not weather I was an alcoholic. It was deemed No i wasn't, so I have to go to lvl 1 drunk driving class. The CRO issued me a color telling me I have to call this hotline on weekdays, if it lands on my color I have to come in the day of and take a breathalyser test. She then handed me my paperwork telling me my color was silver....in the paperwork it says when I come in I am subject to a breathalyser/urinalysis. Since I have no drug charges and this is not drug related, will I have to piss test also?? My CRO herself never said anything about a drug test, just breathalyser. Yet in the paperwork it says I could be drug tested also. Qualifying for Stafford Loan: Request for review of independent status? I already have 11x the amount I'm trying to get a loan for, but it's locked up in a Coogan account until I turn 18. So, aside from finding a full time job, there's no way I will be able to pay for college full time [plus 80 hours of work & school weekly is out of the question lol] over the next 4 months (spring semester). I went to a Stafford Loan workshop, took the online test about the loan and passed, and the government/school will not send me an award letter until I qualify for independent status. Problem is, I still live at home under the care of my Grandparents. I don't pay rent (although I do help out with the bills sometimes), and I don't buy all my own food, etc, basically just a normal dependent student. However, I was taken from my parents who were alcohol/drug abusers when I was 3-6 months old, and this qualifies as independent status...sort of... I had 3 affidavits filled out by family and friends, and now I have to write why I think I should qualify for independent status? I honestly can't say why my Grandparents wouldn't be able to provide their information, but they refuse to and can't help pay for my schooling anyways. Any ideas? I got pulled over for a speeding ticket and the cop never gave me a ticket? I was pulled over, and i was going a good 75-80 on the freeway as the cop pulls me over. I was a nerve-wreck and he told me that i was going 95 mph. I was freaking out.. He asked me if i had anything to drink, accused me of smoking pot, doing cocaine, and meth, etc. My friend was by me, he was interviewed separately so they can play this reverse psychology game. I have never done drugs in my life and id never drink and drive in my life. So he tells me to pull over to a parking lot and does the alcohol tests along with the breathalyser. He then tells me that I'm not in a great state of driving because i was so damn nervous, so he said that i had to stay in the parking lot for 1 hour. And if i hadn't stayed, hed come to my house and arrest me. Which i thought was just pure bullshit. So all in all, he NEVER gave me a ticket, he gave me my license back and i never got a ticket at all. Am i safe? is there going to be charges on my license? any mail coming soon? i live in CA. Temporary Blood Pressure Reduction? I am getting ready to take a medical exam where my blood pressure must be under 140/90. I have never in my life had a reading over that, but at my last doctor’s appointment my BP was 126/79 and a recent pharmacy blood pressure machine test was 137/85. Is I am surprised these readings were high as for years I was under 120/80, is there anything that can be done to temporarily reduce BP for a afternoon to help assure I clear the test? I was thinking of things like not eating breakfast to assure no sodium, and being sure not to consume caffeine or alcohol at all 48 hours before the test. Could those things help, or is there nothing which can impact BP on such a short term basis.
