Blood Drug Testing

if you have a saliva drug test at a hospital would they provide the results or a lab?

if the police thought you had taken drugs and you went to the hospital, and you had a salvia test, would they provide the results at the hospital or would they have to be sent off to a lab for testing? also would they more likely do a blood test, than a saliva test ?

1. Hospitals have their own labs.
2. It is not legal in the US for police to test you for drugs. But if you are in another country then I don't have a clue. But most hospital can have your results within minutes
3. The hospital would not normally perform either test unless their was a medical, rather than a legal reason to carry them out. If there is a legal issue, samples would be taken by a police surgeon. You would be given sealed samples from the same batch and be entitled to send these to an independent lab of your choice for testing, at your own expense of course.
