Blood Drug Testing

if you take one hit off of a joint, how long will it stay in your system for a saliva drug test?

I know someone that took one puff off of a marijuana joint about two days ago, and out of nowhere he had to take a drug test today, a saliva drug test, he drank a lot of water for 2 days, will it show up on the test, i mean it was only one hit. All i need is information regarding the saliva test, not urine, or blood or anything else.

1. I have never heard of a saliva test, but usually marijuana stays in the fat cells of the body for up to a month. Tell your "friend" (ha-ha) good luck!
