Would a skinny person with high metabolism pass a drug test without trying to?

Would a skinny person with high metabolism pass a drug test without trying to? My old roomate used to say he never failed a drug test and he never did anything to try to pass, is this possible?

1. THC is stored in the fat cells so it would make more sense that someone with little body fat would retain less.
2. Maybe he never took drugs.
