Lab Results for Blood Tests?

When we take our blood tests at the doctor's office, is it only that the doctor who ordered the tests can discuss it with you or can another physician discuss it with you, at that same office I mean? Also, do any of you know if there is a deadline to pick up lab results at the office, meaning can we wait months and months to pick it up? thanks, my doctor's office is closed so I wanted to see if any of you know. thanks!
