When should I take a blood pregnancy test?

I had sex on March the 9th and had a blood test done on April the 10th... about 8 days after my period should have come. I also took 6 home pregnancy tests and they all came out negative, as well as the blood test. Is there any way the blood test could have been inaccurate? I took it over a month after having had sex... what do u think? I would like to add that I had protected sex on March the 9th .. my bf wore a condom and he did not ejaculate in me. Because I wanted to be 100% sure I took the morning-after pill within the 72 hours. 10 days after I spotted for 3 days. Could this be the reason for my period being late?

1. I think your not pregnate, just try again, maybe your stressed or something and your peroid is just coming late.
2. I have never heard of a blood test being inaccurate. Maybe you should go see your OBGYN to make sure. They can do an ultrasound to be sure, and by now they would be able to see for sure if there's a baby in there. Good Luck! I would be concerned if my period was that late, but other factors can also affect this. (Exerciseing a lot, stress, anxiety..)

4. I have heard of women who test negative on both the blood and urine tests. The determined through ultrasound. However, there could be another reason for a missed period as well, either way, go to the doctor.
5. I've been pregnant 5 times. Your not pregnant. Blood test is 100%. There is a hormone that women only get when they are pregnant. If that hormone is not in your blood or urine then you are not pregnant.
6. You still COULD be pregnant, but I doubt it. I would go to the doc and get a test done again. The morning after pill is the equivilant of taking multiple birth control pills... this can screw with your cycle, so that is probably what is wrong. See your doctor just in case!
7. If you have taken a legitimate blood test issued by a health care professional and it has come back negative than you are not pregnant. However, you need to consult your OB-GYN if you are still not menstrating because odviously something is not functioning properly.
