Can Listerine make you fail a saliva drug test at Kroger?
Took a saliva drug test at Kroger, where you hold the thing in between your cheek and gum for a few minutes. Just realized that I used Listerine minutes before. Will this make me fail?

- alcohol....test? possibly
- Nope. Only ingredient in Listerine that's an issue is alcohol, and there's not enough quantity to skew the drug test.
- YES!!! It has alchohol in it.
- Yes it can anywhere not just at Kroger. It will show up as Alcohol in your saliva for a fact.
- Not unless you used it seconds before.
- It shouldn't. There is not enough alcohol in it to make a difference. Unless you used it right before I don't think you have anything to worry about.

- All listerine does is kill bacteria. If it is a bacterial swab looking for some sort of oral infection, a doctor might have a harder time getting accurate results. I cant imagine it effecting the results of a drug test for any reason.
- no, not unless it was a very sensitive test. I worked there during the holidays for extra income and had to take the test too. I also use listerine and I didnt fail. Tests do come back wrong my dear so I suggest seeing if you can get a retake.
- I don't think it will register as any illicit drug...but you may fail....which can be a good thing if you need more time to prepare for the retest.
