How Long do you need to stay clean to pass a Saliva Drug test?

I've searched through out the internet and cannot find the answer. If you would can you please help me out, It would be very helpful.

1. just dont use the day of and if you do make sure you brush and rinse with mouthwash
2. you have to stay clean 30 days to pass other drug test. It stays In your sytem for thirty days. I realy don't know.
3. It depends on the type of drug in your system.
4. The source below states that a saliva test can detect drug use during the few previous days. So I would say at least three days.
