jost how sensitive are the saliva drug tests that probation officers give?

picking up on drugs like meth? I need to know for a report.

1. They can pick up most of every drug they are testing for. Some probation officers only test for well none drugs such as weed,coke,crack, and meth. I hope this will help you some.
2. If you used the drug recently, it will detect it. We use urine tests at our office. But, as males can only give drug screens to males, and females to females - it becomes a problem when all the males in the office are out, or all the females are out. So, we have saliva tests that we occasionally use in situations like this. We got them about 6 months ago. So far, several people have been found positive for drugs and have then made admissions. If you did the drug, and are asked about it - be honest. Your officer will never believe anything you say again if you lie about it and are then caught with a positive drug screen.
