Blood Drug Testing

How far back can a Saliva drug test go?

I read on one of the test's manufatcturer's sites that it can only go back a few dayss. is this true

2. A Saliva test tests what is in your fresh Saliva.... which will be anything that is being processed by your system (e.g. drugs). If there are drugs in your system at the time, it will be in your Saliva. It is not able to go back in time (like if you smoked something a few months ago)... it's just what's there now.
