If someone takes a drug urine test used to detect opiates if you have taken methadone would that show up? What kind of drugs would the opiates urine test detect?

1. Methadone is an opiate! so it would show up on test. opiates are drugs derived from opiates. Morphine and its derivates heroins methadone codeine even shows +'ve
2. I think it depends on the test. Methadone is an synthetic opoid, like Vicodin, and some urine tests do test positive for opiates if you've been taking Vicodin.
3. Methadone shows as Methadone on a urine test. Vicodin, Lorcets, Lortab. etc. all show as hydrocodone. Percocet, Oxycontin, Roxidodone, etc. shows as Oxycodone Morphine tablets, Opana, Numorphan,etc. shows as oxymorphone. These are all in th"Opiates" category as far as testing goes.
