How long does marijuana stay in your system for a urine test?
A few details, I am 25 years old. Was a chronic smoker up until 3 months ago (3 cones per day). I have had one smoke since (2 cones) on 14th July. I had the urine test on 4th September (52 days) 7.5 weeks with no smoking. I am 5'11 and weigh 177pounds (thats 179cms and 80kgs) Will I be ok? and please no anti-marijuana and drugs stuff. I've learnt my lesson, it sent me into psychosis!! Thats why I'm having the drug test, to go back to work. Thanks in advance, also any websites to substantiate ur answers would be awesome!! Peace.

- I hear only about 30 days - but they can take a hair sample which will stay for years
- 4-6 weeks or you can go to the grocery store and get the jelly sh*t called certo. mix it with a 36 oz cup of water and drink it before you go for a p*ss test.
- Marijuana stays in the body for days, and sometimes weeks. In heavy users, drug tests can detect THC for up to 90 days after marijuana has been smoked.
- drink a ton of water should get outta your system in a few days it did me
- Single use appears for 48 to 72 hours. Chronic or habitual it can be detectable in the urine for up to 12 weeks. I know because I sell the urine drug testing kits.
- Hi there, well weed stays in your system up to 60 days. It stays in your fat cells. Here is a great site that shows how long every drug effects your body. Good luck.
- MAN U WILL BE FINE,, JUST DRINK TONS AND TONS AND TONS OF WATER... AND WHEN U GO IN TO DO IT,, PEE A LITTLE OUT FIRST AND THEN IN THE CUP.. AND DON'T USE YOUR MORNING PEE. YOUR ALL GOOD.
- Here's a complete list of substances, and how long they stay in your system for each kind of drug test (urine, hair, blood). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_testing#Detection_periods
- If you have been drinking plenty of water and juices you should be OK but if you've been in the room or car with someone else smoking then you could test positive
- I was a chronic smoker five years before you were born, and finally quit 19 months ago. From my experience, THC will remain detectable in a chronic smoker's system for up to six months.
- This is also the one drug that stays in your system the longest. The part of marijuana that gets you high is called `Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol.' Most people just call this THC, but this is confusing: your body will change Delta-9-THC into more inert molecules known as `metabolites,' which don't get you high. Unfortunately, these chemicals also have the word `tetrahydrocannabinol' in them and they are also called THC -- so many people think that the metabolites get you high. Marijuana only keeps you high for a few hours, and it is not right to think that a person who fails a drug test is always high on drugs, either. THC is not water soluble which means that every time you use, it needs some place to stick to.. That's where your fat cells come in. THC is stored in your fat cells. The more you have, the longer the THC will remain. Marijuana --> AKA --> Pot, Acapulco Gold, Grass, Reefer, Sinsemilla, Thai Sticks Can find in your system up to six months. Depending on how much you do
- There have been some very good answers so far, it all depends on your water intake and your individual metabolism. It also depends on the test you are taking, if they are using the home method piss into a cup and see what lines show up, then you could smoke the same day and have a chance of passing. If they are having a lab do the work, then it could be a little different. If it does show up positive and is a lab test, ask to see the results, and refute them if it is something less than i think 20 ppm, you may be able to get a retake. If you want to pass a test in the future, drink more water and actually test through a private lab on your own, you may be able to find out what your results are before risking another good job.
