Blood Drug Testing

What would it take tp prompt you to test your kids for drugs?

With all of the new at drug test kits avalible now, and manufacturers soliciting school districts to sell them to parents please answer this. Would you drug test your kid? What would they have to do to prompt you to test them. Think about it. Serious answers only, Please.

1. Definitely. If I felt that my kid was using drugs, I would test him. I would need reason though- it might be a change in his attitude, or the way he dressed or other changes. But I would not hesitate to test on a regular basis if I felt there was a problem.
2. ANY UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR, SUSPICIONS, OR JUST ANYTHING
3. I honestly pray I never have to but if my gut tells me something is going on and I feel I am not getting an honest answer from my child about doing drugs then I would test them.
4. I would drug test my children if i had suspicions that they were up to something!!!
5. first of all, almost all teens try something at least once! no child should be thought of as "oh no, not my child!". as far as drug testing? depends. as a parent of two teens myself, i would find that hard to do, however, if i felt the need for it, i would. but...i would ask first. i was a kid too, so i would know what would constitute drug testing. i have been open and honest about the experiences i dealt with in high school. my kids even knew i smoked pot on chemotherapy. anyway....if your seeing a side of yourself in your childs eyes (permitting you ever did drugs) i would test. you will also have to consider the consiquences of your testing as well.... what will it solve getting your child tested? therapy? antidepressants? drug rehab? good luck.

If my kids suddenly act out the ordinary, if I notice extreme mood changes of late, if I hear rumors from neighbors, friends or relatives about their behavior, if I see their health steadily decline... there can be so many signals that can prompt me to have my kids take the drug test. As a parent, it is important for me to know my kids activities, their whereabouts, who they usually hang out with.
