What are the chances of negative urine test?

I am 6 days late on my period and just FEEL different. I don't know if my hopes are soaring that I have conceived, or if things in my body really are different. Symptoms include: moodiness, headaches, light cramping. I took two home pregnancy tests which came back negative and just came from the doctor where they gave me a third urine test, also negative. They are sending my blood to the lab for testing, and I was just wondering if this has happened to other people? Or should I stop hoping and start crying?

1. I took a HPT with my first morning urine & got a very light positive. Went to the doctor 4 hours later, to confirm & got negative. Went straight to hospital for blood work because I was so excited and wanted to know if I was pregnant. I got an HCG level of 12, which means pregnant but about "2 seconds pregnant" as my doctor told me! Sadly, it ended in miscarriage--but until the blood work comes back negative, you won't really know! Best of luck to you!
2. No don't worry it doesn't mean that your not it could just be that you are testing too early,I know its hard to say but just wait till you get back the blood test its the best
3. *huggles big huggles* Don't cry! Oh, gosh! I remember going through this my first round. (I'm actually going through my own hoopla as we speak, but we won't talk about that!) With my first round I got negative after negative after negative and everyone kept saying I wasn't pregnant because I kept getting negatives, but I knew differently. I got my positive at 9 weeks. Trust your instincts girl! Mothers always know. :) I hope they gave you a quantitative blood test rather than a qualitative. Normally, you'll get a positive faster with a quantitative blood test over the qualitative. Try to cheer up though. Okay? Everything will work out!
4. I'm feeling the same way, though I'm only 3 days late. I took a pregnancy test on the first day of my missed period and it came back negative. People have been telling me that everyone is different, and if I don't start my period by next week to go and request a blood test. I've got my fingers crossed as we are trying to conceive baby #1.
