Blood Drug Testing

How accurate is a blood test for your liver?

I was worried about my liver as I was taking alot of codeine plus I used to drink alot ( I dont anymore ) I had a full blood test for everything including liver and doctor said everything is fine. Is this accurate or is there another test for liver? haha yeah your right, i guess im just paranoid. I wanted to know if there were any more liver tests and I forgot to ask him.
