If a urine drug test is clean, will a saliva test be clean as well?

A friend of mine asked me if a clean urine test if a saliva test would be clean as well. He is an occasionally marijuana smoker and took an at home urine drug test and it came back negative. He has a pre employment drug test on Tuesday and isn't sure if it will be a urine test or a saliva test. If urine is clean, will saliva be clean as well? If not, is there anything you can do or anyway to test it beforehand? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
