Blood Drug Testing

How do you know when a drug test is postive?

Someone I know took a drug test earlier and noticed that part of the label on the outside of the cup started turning a green color. Does anyone know if this could be a potential positive reading?

  1. Was it a urine test? Why would the outside of the label turn a color when the element is inside the cup? No, I do not think the tester is on a label.
  2. The lable on the cup is to make sure that you are using your own urine. It checks the tempeture. It turns that color when the urine is warm enough. It has nothing to do with the test itself.
  3. It depends on the type of test. Some turn color when they are negative and others turn colors when they are positive. She needs to look at the box that it came in. Also she knows whether or not she would test positive for drugs. Sometimes the color strip on the outside of the cup is a thermometer, which basically tells the tester that the urine is fresh. Not taken from someone else
  4. Usually... When you take drugs. Chances are...the test is positive. The green strip is the temperature reading of the urine in the cup... It has to be warm, or they will fail you for using urine from a concealed vial that is colder than body temp. Helloo Stoopid! See... Keep doing drugs...
  5. Not sure aobut the color as there are various tests available but if any uniform comes knocking.... ;)
