Blood Drug Testing

didn't do drugs, why did i fail a drug test?

I had to take a (saliva) drug test at work yesterday. today i got the results and i FAILED for anphedamines (sp?). I know for a fact i didnt do any drugs. and the only thing i have taken in the last 2 or so mos is benadryl (1 day before) Tylenol PM (week or so before) Tylenol extra str (a few days befor) a flu shot and a tetnus shot (3 days before) And got an IUD (3 days before) can anyone tell me if any of this will show up as a anphedimine ?

2. Benadryl has anphedamines in it.
3. No. They shouldn't. Did you tell the drug testing people about the benedryl? I don't think that shows up as amphetimines, but I'm not sure. Ask for a re-test.
4. The Benadryl or Tylenol PM can have added decongestants or antihistaminics that show up like that.
5. cold medicines have synthetics in them that can show up as a positive on a drug test. It could have also been a false positive. I would state the medications you were on and ask to re-test ASAP.
6. I think that Tylenol has been known to interfere with amphetamine testings.
7. some of those things you took may have had those in them there are good drugs and bad drugs everyone knows that or maybe the test was messed up of some sort or some how
