Blood Drug Testing

saliva drug testing? marijuana?

How long would it be safe to take a saliva drug test? say I smoked an hour ago would I pass a test in a day or two? On web sites it says 36 hours but I want to hear other answers?

1. it should be within about 24 hrs to 48 but thats with extensive water drinking you should try drinking alot of water 3 hours within your actual drug test. I was released from a halfway home and would get ramdom drug screens but the guards would inform us 4 hrs before the actual test and we were smoking marijuana and we would drink water and passed out test(we would wait till our urine would come out clear) so that would be my best answer not by guess but by trial and error
2. Why would you take a saliva drug test, saliva isnt illegal
