What stds can be tested with a saliva test?

Do you have to go a certain number of hours without brushing and using mouthwash etc? Does planned parenthood do these tests? How much?

1. I know that there is a part of your cheek they swab to get DNA so im pretty sure they can test almost any disease but they mostly test aids that way, you would need to have blood taken for the full list of STDs

3. I've only heard of HIV testing that way. I know the college I went to had them at the health center. I get one once and I thought it was free, and I dont remember if there were restriction on brushing or mouth wash. I wouldnt think so...as long as you dont take a swig of mouth wash and go in.
