How to get my blood type tested?
I don't know my blood type, and neither do my parents. I was just wondering, where would I be able to get my blood type tested? I'm pretty sure I can't just walk into a hospital and get it done, so, what can I do? Thanks =)

- If you donate blood, they will tell you since they have to check to find out who can receive your blood. As a bonus, you'll be helping somebody out in the process.
- Just go to any GP. They will be able to assist you.
- I am a CCMA Hospitals and doctors offices do NOT do this procedure anymore. When a child is born they use to do blood typing but not anymore. The reason is it is NOT necessary and they can Cross Type and Match it within seconds in and emergency
- Go see your GP (or local Dr) ask them to test you blood type, the Dr will either take your blood themselves and send it to the testing lab or send you to a pathology collection centre where they will take your blood and carry out the test and send you results either to your requesting Dr or yourself is you request it. I am a scientist so if you know what your parents type are I could worked out what you could possible be I cant make promises that is would be accurate so I suggest go see your general practitioner.
- if you donate blood join the service have a baby Last one probably does apply cuz your name is Patrick but these are the only options that i know of
