What time would be most accurate when taking a pregnancy blood test?

My friend thinks she may be pregnant and she wants to know how many days after conception would be the most accurate time to take a blood pregnancy test. Thanks in advance!

2. PLEASE...... let her know not to even get a blood pregnancy test until she is 1 FULL week late for her period. Here's my story... I found out last monday the 10th that I was pregnant from a blood test. I was not due for my period until wednesday. Well the test was positive i was soooo excited told everyone and then sunday WHAM i lost the baby. If i had of waited until 1 week after my period was due then I would have never know i was pregnant and this miscarriage would have just seemed like my period was late. Since I knew I was pregnant I know know that I lost the baby. This hurts soooo bad. Tell her NOT to do a test until she is a full 1 week late.
