When would pregnancy tests be accurate?

I just had my son almost 5 weeks ago. I havent gotten my period since giving birth so I don't know when my next one is due. I had unprotected sex 5 days ago and I have sore breasts and naseau. When would a blood pregnancy test be accurate?

1. I have never heard of a blood pregnancy test before, but I would think that would be more accurate than a urine test. I know on the urine tests, they say that if you have given birth in the last however many days or have had a miscarriage that it could effect the results of the test (a.k.a a false positive). I would go see your doctor and have them test you. Only they will be able to know for sure.
