Blood drug testing? How far back will it show up?

Okay, so my mom went through my myspace today because I forgot to log off. And in my messages, I was talking about how I had done valium recently, smoked week a couple times, ect. So in a nutshell, she found out I had been doing drugs (I'm really stopping good for now so please don't preach at me). In the messages I didn't state how many times I had actually done each one of them, but when she asked me, I told her I had only smoked weed once and taken 4 valium all together (when in reality I had smoked probably 4-5 within the last month and 1/2). The irony of this all is that actually yesterday I had to go in for my yearly blood test so they could check my thyroid, cholesterol, ect, but my my just threatened me telling me that she was going to call the clinic and tell them to run a drug screening also, to make sure I wasn't lying and that maybe I was taking other drugs as well. Thats not what I'm worried about though, I'm just worried about her really seeing how much is really in my system. How much do blood tests show? Will it show everything I've done in the last 2 months or only what i've done in the last 2 weeks? Please help! (please don't go on about how I should have just told the truth in the first place, it was already really humiliating for me and i just told her what popped into my head first) THANK YOU!!

  1. The Valium will flush out of your system quickly as it is water soluble. The weed will take longer depending on dosage. One month if you are a chronic user -maybe a few days for a couple of puffs. On the Lab. requisition any tests being done will be marked. Weed will be marked as THC
  2. Valium and its metabolites will take about 14 days to leave your system. THC and its metabolites will take about 28 days. BTW, benzodiazepines are fat loving (lipophyllic), not water loving (hydrophyllic)
