  1. My last drug test was a hair sample. They cut a chunk out of the middle of my head.
  2. Drug tests can be performed in a variety of ways, with varying levels of cost to them and varying levels of accuracy. A urine test is the most commonly used as it is fairly cheap, but it is not the most accurate test ever as many drugs stop appearing in the urine after as few as 2 days (heroin as an example). Then they can use a blood test which is much more expensive (and they probably won't be able to afford) but can detect chemicals for longer. Then there is a hair test which is extortionate and would probably never be used unless you were in MI5 and were very important. This can tell your drug use over the entire length of time your hair grew, and when. Generally they just do a urine test though.
  3. well blood is used in both tests, but they will be looking for differents things
  4. Scared of "niles"? What the hell is that, moron. Forget about being a cop if you can't even spell simple words. We don't want you.
  5. No. Blood tests will only show what is in your system now. Thats how they detect pretgnancy and etc. A drug test can either be by urine test (which will only show what is in your system now also) or by a hair sample. They test the root of your hair... The root of your hair will show everything you have ever done whether its crack, cocaine, pot, meth, ice.. etc.. even if it was years and years ago.
  6. You may as well get over being scared of needles. If you become a police officer, there are far more things you will have to face. There are many types of drug tests. Most utilize urine, blood, or both. If you're highly suspected of being a drug addict, hair samples can be taken, which will show evidence of drug use from several years ago. All tests are very accurate. Don't be afraid. When you get blood drawn, tell the technician that you're anxious and they will likely use a butterfly needle (the smallest one) and they will also be extra careful with you. Good luck. Someone once said "The saddest words of tongue and pen are the words...it might have been." Don't let your fear of needles keep you from going after what you want in life. You only get one life. Use it so that when you're old, you don't look back and wondered what might have been if you had only done this or that differently.
  7. not necessarily.
  8. May be or may not be..
  9. yes don't worry if you tell them you don't like needles they will hide the needle from you and then you wont see it and they will talk to you too
