types and meanings of blood glucose tests?

i had a blood test done 2hr pc in which i fasted had a bloodtest then ate a meal and 2 hours later had test done to check glucose....in this one my insulin came high...........but i also had an oral glucose blood test done in which they gave me a glucose drink and took my blood after and the results were normal. no high insulin does this still mean i have insulin resistance? no i fasted for both tests 12 hours

1. Hmm ... usually they give you a fasting test, and then the oral glucose. Do you think it's possible that you were supposed to be fasting for the first test but didn't realize it?
