how do i know how reliable are the blood pregnancy tests? i had unprotected sex 10 days ago?

i had unprotected sex 10 days ago and i am 5 days late on my period but i took a blood pregnancy test at planned parenthood and results are negative is this reliable and whats going on?

1. ok, blood tests are very reliable and accurate, so if it was negative, you're not pregnant. If you want to become pregnant, keep trying. It takes time and when it's meant to happen, it will happen.
