Blood Drug Testing

Can pregnancy blood tests be wrong?

I'm 10 weeks late and have had a blood test to check for HCG in my blood. My results are due back Tuesday. Can these results be wrong? Has anyone had a negative blood test and then gone on to having a baby? Please help?

2. no pregnancy blood tests can not be wrong because they look for the units for hCG in your blood which if its 1+ then your classed as pregnant i had the same thing as you, i went 5months without period and i had a whole medical team sure i was pregnant and then one month it just came back, they don;t know what caused it or why it happened it just did, but pregnancy blood works are always right there is no way your pregnant if they say your not pregnant... sorry.
3. No. they are accurate. They can't be wrong. Especially with you being 10 weeks late.... If it says you have no hcg in your blood then you are definately NOT pregnant. Good luck!!
4. thats very acutate and if you are then the blood test will tell you. 10 weeks late havent you took a regular pregnancy test yet?? it would definitly show up positve if you were
5. The results wouldn't be late this far into a pregnancy. If it's negative, and your period is 11 weeks late at that point, they should do a pelvic exam and an ultrasound just to see what's been going on. Have you had any other symptoms? I wonder why they're making you wait so long though... My doctor's office has the results the same day...

7. No. Blood tests are 100% accurate. ESPECIALLY if you are 10 weeks late. Theres not way you would get a false anything! Good luck!
