is 100% blood bank lab tests are accurate in hiv ?

iam raju where i donate blood and i got a call from blood bank that they were made some tests which they did not tell to me and they said hiv psoitive for me in same blood bank before they test my hiv status i donated 5 times in the same blood bank and before they confirm i have donated the blood in the blood bank just before 6 months and hiv positive will shown accurate 3 months but how can it possible with in 6 months how can i get and i did not do sex and i did not take anything like drugs etc 6 months also i did not do anything just i like masturbating so i did for 2 days only can any one answer my question

  1. I'm assuming you are saying a blood bank called you and told you your blood tested positive for HIV? If you indeed had no risk factors...........this test was most likely a false positive. If you truly had no risk factors, you have nothing to worry about. Get a Western Blot test to confirm your status, I'm quite sure it will be negative if what you say is true. Cheers!
  2. I think I have already answered this question but I repeat again. When you donate blood, they cannot wait 3 months for an antibody test. So they use a PCR test, which is accurate even days after infection. This test has a very high rate of false positive. That is why it is not recommended for HIV diagnosis. Because it has a high rate of false positives, it is very likely that your test was a false positive. If you did not have any risky exposure, you do not need to be worried about it. Take an antibody test right now and get yoru negative result and move on with your life.
