Blood Drug Testing

Veterinary Technician and chemistry?

I am doing an assignment in Chemistry and one of the questions is "How is chemistry useful in the career you chose?" Obviously I chose Veterinary Technician as that is what I plan on studying in sept. I am just wondering what you all think would be added here? What i have so far is, using test strips and observing the color changes that occur when the urine react with the chemicals on the strip. Doing blood analysis. Giving medications. Any help on elaborating this as well would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance.
