Blood Drug Testing

Can you help me calc my co payment for lab blood testing?

i want to know how much i will have most likely be paying my co pay is 25 for office 40 for spec 40 urgent care 100 for er my doctor himself will not be doing the blood work but he gave me referrals with locations i could go to ...they need to test for prenatal 271 , varcicella zoster igg and alpha feto protein

  1. you don't give enough information here to calculate anything having to do with lab work... suggest you call your insurance provider and ask them what it will cost, they will be happy to tell you.
  2. Get the cost of the test from the lab then call your provider. The number should be on your card.
  3. It sounds like you are going to a specialist and it will cost $40. I would think that all of the testing and lab work is fully covered and you wouldn't pay anything for that. If you have to go to the specialist more than once you might have to pay the $40 each time, although I'm not certain about this. I just had a colonoscopy and had to pay a $50 co-payment for the initial consultation last week, but nothing when I went today for the test. I've had numerous different insurance plans and have never paid for lab tests, but not knowing your policy it is impossible to know for sure. The best thing to do would be to call the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask the insurance company.
