Blood Drug Testing

Where can I go apart from my own doctors to get a full medial done quickly?

I need to get a full medical done quickly which includes blood tests including HIV, also chest xrays etc etc it is for a job abroad. I need to know if I can go to any hospital or does it need to be a private hospital and does any one know roughly it all takes? Does it make any difference that I am in the UK???

1. just make an appointment to see another doctor... hospitals don't do that sort of thing, you need to go to a clinic, and you can ask what it will cost when you make the appointment.
2. Go to an urgent care center. Look them up in the yellow pages. They have all the testing equipment on site.
3. Your regular doctor would have to give you the write up for the blood work and the tests needed. Call your doctor and have them fax you the lab write up and the documents you need to give them at the hospital! I don't think you can just walk into the hospital and get these tests gone but you can always call and ask the hospital before you waste the gas going there. Good Luck and have fun abroad!
4. Just go to your local clinic where people with public aid go, and they accept walk-ins and they will ask you what you want done and they will do all that(HIV testing,xrays etc..)in one day. It might take a few hours depending on how many people are there. Good luck =]
5. blood works takes time to get back, xrays are real quick from my experience. again the physical aspects are easy the blood works takes some time. you might as your dr, to rush it. however rushing it is not a good idea, because you want a clean bill of health versus a haphazard one.
