Blood alcohol tests results were 1 out of ten. Can cough syrup or o'douls cause this?
I used O'doul's brew more than 12 hours before test

- Non alcoholic beers do have a very small amount of alcohol in them, as do some cough syrups, but would be out of your system in much less than 12 hours.
- yes...anything with alcohol in it! It is the level fo alcohol in your blood that is being measured. So no matter what the form of the alcohol you ingested was, the blood test will measure it.
- It would have to be cough syrup or a food that naturally created some alcohol content in your blood or the test device. Remember some mouthwash has alcohol in it and can affect a blow. O'Douls is < .05% alcohol you would have to drink close to a case soon before the test to even register and by that time you would be sick. O'Douls is made so that you have to drink so much you puke before it does anything to you.
