- i am not sure but i think blood tests r pretty accurate. u can buy pregnancy tests at the super market which can tell u when u r 1 day late or the day of your missed period. all the best.
- If you have enough pregnancy hormones to stop your period, a blood test will usually be accurate.
- It doesn't even have to be late. I had one done before my period was due by about 3 days.
- You can probably take a regular at home test. I always used the First Response. With my second pregnancy I was 2 weeks late & the EPT was negative, the First Response was positive for me in all my pregnancies. It's better to take them 1st thing in the morning, w/your 1st urine. Walgreens has their own brand of an early test, I have used it & it was accurate for me. Also, you are more likely to get a false negative than false positive.
- It does not have to be late at all. By this point you can take any kind of test and get accurate results. Good Luck!
- the doc usually use a pee test also
