Blood Drug Testing

Do I need frequent thyroid tests to be sure of a problem?

I've been having generalized anxiety which started with an anxiety attack two months ago. I've gotten a blood test to check my thyroid but it came out normal. I've heard that you need frequent tests to actually detect an abnormality. Is this true?

I have thyroid disease and have to have my blood checked every 90 days, I was diagnosed 6 years ago with it, I had severe anxiety attacks to the point where I couldn't leave my house... until I was put on Synthyroid...they are all gone now and Im still on meds. I will be on thyroid meds for the rest of my life
