When can a pregnancy blood test show accurate results?

Can i have a blood test a week before my AF is due and have an accurate result?

1. its different with every pregnancy . it depends when it has implanted because that's when it starts producing the hgt . the average is 7 -10 days after conception . Best wishes
2. Per babymed.com a blood test can come back positive about 3-4 days after implantation so about 10-11 days after ovulation.
