Will cancer be picked up in normal blood tests?
I'm kind of nervous when it comes to colon cancer because a few people in my family has it. When I get my blood tests done every year would something like that show up in the tests, or do I have to have special tests done?

- You would most likely need to do special tests such as a colonoscopy and a smear test (where you smear some of your fecal matter on a card and send it to the lab for evaluation). Tell your doctor of you fears and he/she will do what needs to be done. Best of luck to you.
- They will look at your white blood cell count and red blood cell count and if one isnt right they will do further tests.
- is not so
