Blood Drug Testing

Is cancer found in blood tests?

If you suspect you have skin cancer, would you have to get the actual part of the skin tested or would the Dr. find results from blood work?

Public Comments

  1. A biopsy of the suspected skin--a small sample.
  2. No skin cancer does not normally show up on a blood test. If skin cancer was suspected the only way to confirm the diagnosis would be by carrying out a biopsy. this means that they take a small sample of the skin in that area and have a look at it under a special microscope to look for the presence of any abnormal or cancerous cells

  4. NO .. Biopsy is how they tell if a person has skin cancer.
