Will standard blood tests determine whether I have cancer?

2. What is a "standard" blood test mean. They have a cancer screening test that they take, but some of them require biopsies and not just blood tests. Sorry, go to the doc if you are concerned.
3. No, only if you have cancer of the blood. Most cancers can't be determined by a blood test.
4. No most cancers do not show up in blood tests. Only cancers like leukemia can be picked up with a blood test. Most other cancers can be picked up by CT or MRI scans. The they can be followed up with a biopsy. This is the method of detection for most, but not all types of cancer
5. a cbc can be used for leukemia, a psa would indicate problems with the prostate. what kind of cancer are you talking about.
