Blood Drug Testing

I have blood tests every three months since having my uterine cancer 1 year ago. I notice on my labslip that?

it said for the disgnosis or reason for the test was that I was immunocompromised... Am I, and will I always be?

  1. Hello, Are/Were you receiving chemotherapy for your cancer? This would be the most likely cause for your immune system not to be normal (eg. immunocompromised). If it is due to chemotherapy, then it is only temporary around the time of the treatment and you expect your blood counts and immune system to recover with time. Sometimes doctors don't always use the most accurate diagnoses when giving a reason for a test. I hope this helps to answer your question.
