Can you test positive on a drug test for 2nd hand smoke from marijuana?

I recently quit smoking weed about 2 months ago, but most of my friends still smoke. I've been looking for a 2nd job and alot of them require drug tests. Now i don't directly breathe it in or get a contact buzz, but i can smell it. But can sitting in a smoked out apartment make you fail a drug test?

1. i doubt it. but maybe you can try yourself. cant you buy drug tests at the drug store? maybe you can have a trial run at home.
2. Second hand marijuana smoke will not release THC. You will be fine.
3. nope! not unless your puffing on it.. if you do fail it would be because you still have thc in your system since you last quit.but since it's been two months i think you okay unless your obese..
4. hey im in the army and we get tested almost monthly and the one thing that the people at the drug labs stress is that you CANNOT test positive for 2nd hand smoke... idk how accurate they are but im assuming its pretty good
5. Nope. My friend one time got on probation for being caught with paraphenalia, he stopped smoking and he was around secondhand smoke a lot. In fact he sat in a hotboxed car with windows closed and he stil tested negative. Plus the amount of THC from secondhand smoke is way below the cutoff point. Thats why they have cutoff points in drug tests.
6. It IS possible to test positive from second-hand smoke, but the second-hand smoke has to be in significant quantities. For instance, a closed car full of marijuana smokers and a non-smoker may render the non-smoker positive for both urinalysis and the hair test, provided that they are sealed in the car for a while. The United States army did a case study where volunteers were put in a room pumped full of smoke for an hour, five time daily. Subjects started testing positive after the second day. The non-smoker would have to take in virtually as much second hand smoke as a smoker. Non-smokers are safe in a ventilated area, as long as they don't get a hair test.
7. Unless you were stuck in a closet for five hours with three other stoners blazing with a couple blunts, you will pass your drug test.
