Blood Drug Testing

would the government actually do tests on someone with a blood type that doesn't exist?

if a person had a blood type that no one had ever seen before what would happen?would the government do a bunch of tests and stuff on them?would i be the governments property?would they kill that person for their blood?

  1. um what government? Eh...it probabl doesnt matter which one, but lets say the USA. First they would have to ask you your permission to do tests, they probably would just get a sample of your blood and see if you act diffrently then other people, they wouldnt kill you because then you would be kinda useless for observations. And heck no you would not be property, i mean come on did you ever read the constitution?
  2. No, if a person surfaced with a blood type other than A, B, AB, or O, it would be an annoyance. They would receive Type O if they needed it, as O lacks antibodies to the other types. Although these are the major blood types known to most people, there ARE minor blood subgroups, so locating another group would not be surprizing. This might be interesting to the physician who finds it, as it may generate a journal article for him. It is unlikely that anyone would be killed for something from which a sample could easily be obtained.
