- Longer than it stays in your system. It will always be on your record.
- Cannabis (marijuana) is a part of every drug test nowadays. Sadly for you, and due to the Internet and databases, your results are now a permanent part of your record. However, not all companies will exclude just for smoking a bit of marijuana there's hope for you. It really should be legalized anyway.
- i have no idea how long it will stay on your record but no not every hr office will test but if they do a back round check they WILL see that you failed it before.
- Not every HR officer does, depending onthe job you applie dfor it mightn't be that serious more people test positive than you think. Meedical records are kept for at least seven years, then archived. Don't feel stigmatised about it, for all you know the HR officer could be an crack addict, it happens
- If you're over 18, unless you get it legally expunged, it will, more than likely, always be there. If you're under 18, when you turn 18 it will go away.
- First of all, It's not the human resource office that decides to check for drug use, it's the company itself. Most companies have random drug testing or test for it prior to getting hired. It's not like a police record but obviously they can fire you you are decide not to hire you over it. You might want to consider that the next time you smoke weed if you want to hold a job or get hired.
- What kind of record? Like a police/criminal record?
- If it's a company record....They can NOT by law pass that info to anyone. (It's actually covered under HIPA law, it's considered to be a medical record). If anyone finds out about it, you can sue for damages. But you'll need to abstain because they'll retest you as frequently as they can. Good luck
