Blood Drug Testing

3 neg urine tests and a negative blood test but feel pregnant. Is there anyone who has had this?

I am now 16 days late and have all of the symptoms of being pregnant, but 3 neg urine tests and a negative blood test. My last two pregnancies didn't show up on a urine test, but always did on the blood test. Has anyone else had a negative blood test, but still was pregnant?

1. Blood tests, unless there's some random error in processing, are foolproof. Your "symptoms" are most likely because you are convincing yourself that you're pregnant. If a woman wishes/thinks it hard enough, her body can simulate early pregnancy symptoms without any actual pregnancy.
2. Maybe you should wait another couple weeks and ask for an ultrasound. But I think the tests are right. Maybe you are thinking about it so much that you are delaying your period.
3. Make sure to get your thyroid levels checked at your next doc appt...I didn't get my period for 3 months and I turned out to be hyperthyroid...good luck!
4. My wife, ironically enough named Jessica, had similar experiences. She spent a week in a hospital with the final result of being told her symptoms were psychological. Low and behold, 2 months later, she was found to be 3 months pregnant. There are also drugs, etc, you may be taking that can skew the results.
5. Yes this sounds exactly like me actually. I missed my period on the 16th. Had all negative urine tests about 6. Then had a blood test on the 22 (so 6 days later) It was negative too. Still no period, on the 29th, so took another test, and it was a big fat POSITIVE. I went to my doctors extremely confused? Asking why everything came back negative and now all of a sudden positive. She just said that all the other test were too early, because i must have ovulated and fell pregnant only 2 days before my period was due. It takes up to 2-3 weeks for the hormones in your body to produce and show up on the tests.
