Can a weekend of heavy drinking alcohol make a blood test for liver function read high if the test was on Wed?

If I drank fairly heavily on the weekend and had blood drawn on Wed. or Thur. could that drinking affect the results on the liver panel?

I don't think so-usually the alcohol is out of your system within 24hrs. The tests will show what your liver is like regardless if you drink or not.
if your liver was healthy in the first place then probably not but if there was something wrong with your liver in the first place then maybe
